August 16th

Dave and Shelly's family.

Muriera boys.  Yummy food Lyn!

Natalie's gorgeous girls...

B is continuing to progress-  She had a tough morning but is doing much better this afternoon. She is practicing with crutches and getting more and more comfortable with them.  We have had a lot of family visitors today and it was very enjoyable for B to see her cousins.  We came up with a code word "can I have some gatorade mom" that means- get them the heck out of here!  We are feeling blessed and loved.  Thank you!

So glad to hear that your trip home went well! I hope she keeps hangin' in there! It's so hard to be in pain and try to just take it easy and let your body heal. Poor girl! Hope Olivia got off ok. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

It was good to see you yesterday, Brittan. Even if was only over the internet you looked good. Keep up the hard work but don't push yourself too hard. We love you and missed you.

Now that you have publicized the secret word, doesn't it defeat having one?

I'm amazed she is home now! That's wonderful. Tell her to say she wants gatorade as often as she wants - visitors are great but can be so tiring! We love you guys. Good luck to Olivia, too, off to Mexico!

You go girl! I've been out of town (Kirsten graduated from BYU, so we helped move her and her husband to Reno) and I'm just now checking on your progress. I'm impressed that you are already up on crutches. When you can stand on one and menace a sibling with the other (which I know you would NEVER do...) we will all know that you are truly recovering.

PS don't let your mom know I gave any suggestion about a crutch. Your dad on the other hand would probably be ok with the idea....
