We made our way through New Mexico today. We spent an extra day in Utah due to mild car trouble. In December when we slid into a curb during the snow storm we evidently did a little more damage to the wheel than we thought. We had to replace the ball bearing in the front right tire- a part that we had to over night. We left Utah around noon on Thursday and headed south. We stayed in Gallop NM last night and traveled a very long day today all the way to Carlsbad Caverns. We will take a tour in the morning then head to Austin. The kids have been great in the car with very few problems. Michael let Hayden drive in the middle of rush hour traffic in El Paso. It was not the best experience. We almost got in 3 accidents and all lost a few years off of our lives. Glad to report that everyone is happy and we are not ready to kill each other!
